This basically refers to bed clothes and bed linens. A set of bedding usually consists of a flat or fitted sheet which covers the mattress- a flat top sheet, bed cover, comforters, bed skirts, duvets and pillow covers.
Bedding makes the bed presentable and prevents the mattress from getting soiled by dust and dirt. Bedding ensures hygiene, warmth, protection to the mattress, and for decorative effect. Bedding is the removable and washable portion of a human sleeping environment. Additional blankets, etc. may be added to ensure the necessary insulation in cold sleeping areas. One should include number of set of beddings that can be washed in rotation or changed seasonally to enhance the comfort level.
